As Rachel Brosnahan revealed in an interview withTown & Country Magazinein 2022, she and Jason Ralph initially met while shooting their 2014 rom-com together,I’m Obsessed With You: But You’ve Got To Leave Me Alone. Reportedly, the pair started seeing each other only after the shoot ended in 2013.
Two years later in February, they were spotted at their very first public event together while attending the opening night ofThe Lion, at the Lynn Redgrave Theatre in New York City.
Soon enough, within a month, the couple cozied up at an N.Y.C. screening ofAziz Ansari: Live at Madison Square Garden, with the actress planting a kiss on her beau’s cheek in front of the cameras without hesitation.
This was followed by multiple events that the pair attended together, including the opening night ofThe Woodsmanin February 2016, where Brosnahan stepped forward to support her boyfriend, and the NYC premiere ofThe Marvelous Mrs. Maiselin 2017, where Ralph showed support to his girlfriend.

Although the couple has been together for more than a decade, actress Rachel Brosnahan and actor cum theater producer Jason Ralph have done a minimum of 2 projects together throughout their career so far.
As it turns out, out of the handful of projects that the actor has starred in, he shares only two with his partner: their rom-com together i.e.I’m Obsessed With You: But You’ve Got To Leave Me Alone, and the actress’ comedy-drama,The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
While Brosnahan played the female protagonist Nell Fitzpatrick in 2014’sI’m Obsessed With You, her boyfriend bagged the supporting role of Jake Birnbaum in the critically acclaimed movie.
As forThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: While the actress, yet again, bagged the leading role as Miriam Maisel, Ralph only went as far as playing the TV show booker Mike Carr in 11 episodes of season 4 of the hit TV show, and despite that, never shared a scene together.
However, their screen time together never affected their time together in real life, considering how the pair is still in as much love with each other as ever.

At the Emmy Awards 2018, Rachel Brosnahan and Jason Ralph sparked some serious marriage rumors as the couple was seen sporting matching bands on their left ring fingers. Further speculation brought about the news that they had actually been secretly married.
However, the exact time when they tied the knot wasn’t officially confirmed until 2019, when theDead for a Dollaractress herself confirmed her marriage toThe Magiciansstar during the SAG Awards, claiming that they had actually“been married for years.”
As for the reason why they decided to keep it a secret, Brosnahan had quite“a few reasons.”As she revealed at the event (viaPeople):
“The first [reason is] that it’s just that…personal. Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last two years. We both find this double standard problematic and frustrating and opted to redirect those conversations to our work.”
After this, the couple continued to attend multiple events and award ceremonies together, and have been promoting and supporting each other and their work equally. Their most recent public appearance was at the Golden Globes 2024, where both Rachel Brosnahan and Jason Ralph were as smiles as ever.
