Today, Sonyrevealedthe PS Plus line-up of games for Extra and Premium subscription tiers in August 2022, and it includes a highly popular multiplayer hit as well as some great story-driven experiences.

Earlier this month, Sony revealed that they are planning to add the full catalog of the Yakuza series to PS Plus until the end of this year. Earlier this month, Yakuza: Like A Dragon was launched on all PS Plus tiers, and now in the second half of the month, more entries from the series join the service. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are new additions to the PS Plus service that will be available on August 16.

If you are looking for a unique multiplayer experience, then you could have a blasting month ahead as Sony adds Dead By Daylight to PS Plus on August 16 along with Ghost Recon Wildlands. The former is one of the most popular 1v4 horror multiplayer games that will soon receive a new Resident Evil crossover.

The latter is also one of the memorable titles from the Ghost Recon series that still has a significant amount of active players, though it is mostly focused on PvE gameplay rather than PvP.

That being said, if you prefer to experience horror in a story-driven game rather than a multiplayer experience, you’re able to look forward to Metro Exodus as another big addition to PS Plus this month.

Last but not least, you may expect the addition of Bugsnax for PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers. The game was originally launched as a timed exclusive on PlayStation consoles and received favorable reviews thanks to its cute visuals and eerie storytelling.
