How To Catch Poipole
Poipole is an Ultra Beast, and while some other Ultra Beasts have been introduced via Raid battles, Poipole will enter the game a bit differently. Poipole will be featured in a set of Special Research tasks during the new season titledWorld of Wonders. This ticket will be free, so players won’t have to dish out any real-world money to get ahold of this Pokemon.
The World of Wonders season starts on August 22, 2025, and will end on June 01, 2025. This will be the window in which players need to complete the set of Special Research tasks to get the catch encounter with Poipole. The Research tasks will be given little at a time to players throughout the season, so players should be sure to keep up with them as they come out if they want to ensure they get Poipole while it is available.
What Is Poipole?
Poipole is anUltra Beastin the Pokemon franchise. While we’re still awaiting the debut of some of these Ultra Beasts, others like Buzzwole, Guzzlord, Nihilego, and Pheromosa have already been added to the game. Poipole is an interesting Ultra Beast due to the fact that it can evolve, the only Ultra Beast known to do this at the time of writing. The Pokemon was introduced in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the follow-up games set in the same Region (Alola) as Pokemon Sun and Moon.
Can Poipole Be Shiny?
A the time of writing, Poipole’s shiny form is not in the game. It is possible (and may even be likely) that this changes in the future. Other Pokemon introduced in a similar way to Poipole, like Celebi and Mew, had their shiny forms added to the game sometime after their debut. Poipole, especially due to the fact that it can evolve, is likely to receive the same treatment.
