Earlier this week,PlayStationheld a brand-new ‘State of Play’ showcase. With 14 different games being shown during the 35-minute presentation, there was one game that triumphed over the rest: Astro Bot. You might also be excited about PlayStation’s new live-service title, Concord. Although, based on the trailer,there don’t appear to be many of you.
So with all eyes on Astro Bot, it didn’t take the internet long to start diseccting the trailer for all of the hidden, quirky little easter eggs that PlayStation had included. Fans weremiffed not to see Bloodborne get a nod, but the trailer paid homage to famous PlayStation characters such as Nathan Drake, Kratos, and more.

If you’ve played Astro’s Playroom, the free-to-play title that comes pre-installed on every PlayStation 5, you’re probably well aware that the levels take place inside of the PS5. So it was no surprise to see the console make a return in the new trailer for Astro Bot.

While there are multiple gameplay clips of the PlayStation 5 in the trailer, there was one moment in particular that fans have taken to be a tease for the heavily rumoured PlayStation 5 Pro.

Over on X (formerly Twitter) an abundance of posts began appearing shortly after the release of the Astro Bot trailer. Somehow, all of them seemed to think that at 1-minute and 50-seconds into the trailer, the PlayStation 5 Pro was teased.
And this is just a handful, there’smore…andmore. Apparently, none of these users have ever taken the side plates off of their PlayStation 5 to clean it, because that’s all this is. A PlayStation 5 with its side plates removed.

While Sony has yet to announce a Pro version of the PlayStation 5, a report fromInsider Gamingsuggests that the upgraded console could be released this holiday season, with details likely to arrive in the coming months.
