To first meet Akinari, players will need tocomplete rank 3 on the Hanged Man Social link with Maiko and also haveRank 4 Academicsto continue the social link. During that rank, Akinari will also meet the player at the Shrine. Return to the Shrine on a later Sunday to find Akinari sitting at the bench behind the playground. He will mention that he is missing his red fountain pen.
To find the pen,return to the dorm and interact with Koromaru(the red-eyed beast), who will beright next to the door and have an exclamation point over his head.Koromaru found the pen, and it can be taken back to Akinari to begin his social link. Akinari is found at the Shrine onlyduring the day on Sundays,making him one of the more difficult social links to max out.
