Path of Exile 2’sdevelopers are back to nerfing abilities just 2 days after the game’s launch, even after promising the stark opposite. Grinding Gear Games have been criticized in the past, countless times, for coming up with nerfs that make the gameplay imbalanced.

Addressing this issue, it had promised players thatPath of Exile 2would not be inflicted with the same fate. However, the promises did not hold up for even 2 days as GGG is already planning to nerf one ability, or rather an interaction, that has become too overpowered in its opinion.

The players, however, do not seem to have any problems with it, especially due to the little time it has been since the game’s release. Very little time has passed for GGG to come up withconclusions about the imbalance within the game, especially after complaints from the previous game.

Path of Exile 2’s Ascendancy Classes Make Diablo 4’s Class Specializations Look Like Child’s Play
Nevertheless, a nerf is a nerf, and it goes against the promises made before, and playersare extremely disappointed at this news. The developers need to address their player community soon and offer some justification for their actions.
Constant Changes To The Gameplay Hinders The Experience
Constant nerfs to popular items and builds discourage creativity and experimentation, forcing players to change their playstyle according to the constantly changing meta of the game. Players feel too demotivated to try new things in the game after one point.
Diablo 4 Killer Path of Exile 2 Could Commit Seppuku Because of Only Feature That Makes it Unique
Nerfs aregenerally focused on balancing the gameplay, not sucking the fun out of the game. GGG should instead focus on coming up with a long-term solution to balance the game once and for all.
If this persists, thenPath of Exile 2might end up losing a large share of its market, including both casual as well as dedicated fans. What do you think about GGG’s nerfing policies? Let us know in the comments below.
