Palworld: Where To Find Tombat
Looking to catch a Tombat? We can help!
Precious Pelts are a rare resource in Palworld. As such, you’re not going to find them just anywhere, and they won’t be low-effort items when you do find them. What we can promise is that they’re worth the trouble.
Fight Open-World Bosses
Some players call these Pals elites, while others call them bosses.Regardless, they’re bigger and stronger than the average Pal. One of the earliest open-world bosses you can encounter is Chillet. When you catch or kill this boss, it will drop the Precious Pelts in addition to Ancient Technology. Both of these resources are valuable, but the Precious Pelts are a little unique.
The bosses in the open world respawn slowly, meaning you may farm them for pelts, resources, and experience.

While these Precious Pelts are considered a rare resource, they aren’t used for crafting whatsoever. Instead, they’re purely meant to be high value items that you can sell to a Merchant. This could be a Wandering Merchant or one of the Merchants in a small settlement around the open world. No matter where you go, these are worth 500 gold per Precious Pelt. If you’re hunting down all of the open world bosses, and potentially even fighting them more than once, you can really make a bundle just selling all of the Precious Pelts you pick up along the way. They’re likely not valuable enough to go out of your way for, but they’re a nice bonus when they come up.
