Best Places To Farm Quartz
Early on in the game, you will putmost of your Mining efforts into Oreso that youcan make Ingots. However, later you will find that you will need to put a big effort intomining other mineralssuch asQuartz and Sulfur. Knowing where a large number of these spawn will be invaluable as you find yourselfneeding more and more of these minerals.
For the best possible hauls, you will either need toplace down a Palbox in these areasso that you can quickly return to an actual base, increase your Weight stat, or have a Pal in your team that will increase your carrying capacity — such asWumpoorWump Botan.
Coming to any of these areas at night with a flying mount is be a great way to spot these deposits when they twinkle with light. You can then place a map marker such as a Pickaxe to always know their exact location.
First Quartz Farming Location
This location is theearliest place you should be able to farm quartzas it is in the Frostbound Mountains — which is north of the Verdant Brook. This is a great place to get some Pals with better Work Suitability over any Lv 1 Work Suitability Pals you currently have working at your base. You will be able to find 5 deposits of Quartz here.

Second Quartz Farming Location
All the remaining options arelocated in the northernmost Island at the Astral Mountains. Quartz deposits are always in these icy areas, so be sure to knowhow to survive in extreme climatessuch as these. You will find this spot just above the forest area of this island. Theamount of deposits can vary from world to world, but this area tends to be on the high end of how many deposits are available.
However, this locationcan have strong human enemies spawningnearby that will attack you. This is also the area where you will be able tocatch a Wumpo if you wantthat increased carrying capacity. Wumpo will also be amassive help around your basethanks to it being one of the fewPals that have Work Suitability at Lv 4.

As stated before,placing a Palbox in any of these locationsis a great way to be able to mine a large amount of Quartz before returning to your base.
