After that rollercoaster, it was nice to see another of the big publishers do something fan-friendly in response to shutting down one of its outmoded ecosystems....

During a new interview withMatthew Ball,Epic Gamesfounder and CEO Tim Sweeney hinted at the possibility of 200-playerFortnitelobbies with the next iteration of the studio’s popular engine: Unreal Engine 6. According to Sweeney, this is down to server limitations that were in place when the company released Fortnite back in 2017.
