What Happened In One Piece Chapter 1101?
The last chapter of One Piece begins with Bartholomew Kuma learning that Luffy is Dragon’s son. As a surprised Kuma watches Luffy training in the Kingdom of Goa and smashing rocks with his technique, he is taken in a flashback, remembering a conversation he had with Dragon years earlier. Joining the two pieces, Kuma concludes that Luffy is Dragon’s son.
Continuing his mission in the Kingdom of Goa, Kuma makes the pirates responsible for raiding the merchant ship give up the goods on the promise of no further harm to them. As the chapter continues, Kuma continues to write to Bonny. While the latter waits for Kuma’s letters to arrive enthusiastically, she never receives them. Little did the two know that Alpha was intercepting the letters and destroying them in the process.
In what comes as a surprise, Dr. Vegapunk reveals that Kuma has close to a year of consciousness left. After that, Kuma probably won’t have free will and will likely be a slave to command. In the meantime, Bonny learns about Alpha’s true identity and his plans to never let her go free.
Upon learning the truth, Conney proposes a plan to help Bonney escape and search for Kuma. The chapter ends with Bonney escaping with her new ship and crewmates and knocking down Alpha when she tries going after her.
