However, he received no ability from this fruit and is now cursed to forever to have a cheerful expression and let out bouts of laughter. Killer is one of the few characters to not have a name based on an actual real-life pirate, with Oda saying he chose the name because he was feeling lazy, and didn’t want to dwell on it too much.

His name is based on the protagonist of the novel, Treasure Island.

Jewelry Bonney is the captain of the Bonney Pirates and originally hails from South Blue. Bonney is known for having anincredible appetitethat can rival even Luffy’s. Her Devil Fruit allows her to manipulate the age of not just herself, but others as well. This allows her to assume the form of a young girl when she wished to save the life of Zoro.
By turning her enemies into little kids, or making them elderly, they will be at a significant disadvantage in combat. Bonney plays a massive part in the Egghead Arc, which will also reveal a connection between her and a formerWarlord of the Sea, Bartholomew Kuma. Bonney’s real-world counterpart is Anne Bonny, a woman of noble birth who became a pirate in the Caribbean.

Capone Bege is a Mafia Don who originally hails from West Blue. They are also the captain of the Fire Tank Pirates.
