I’m already a tired guy. I don’t want to be a tired dad….particularly bringing new life into the context of my life, there’s a heavy burden there.

He further elaborated that he does not think that bringing new life into the world would be the best decision for him, simply because of the burden that comes with being a father. While many would assume that this would make him a subject of hate, the reasons that fans had were quite the opposite.

Fans Loved Andrew Garfield’s Answer

It is a well-established fact in the world that people should think a lot more when they are having children. Bringing life into the world requires a lot of sacrifices and completely uproots the personal lives of the parents. The fact that Andrew Garfield understands this responsibility only adds to why fans love him as much as they do.

As soon as his comments hit the internet, fans were quick to comment on their thoughts on the matter. Some fans mentioned that it is extremely responsible for the actor to recognize that if he does not think that he would be a good father, he does not go and have children.

Respect this decision. Being a parent takes so much energy.

as a depressed person fighting for my life every day i get him

I totally understand what he means, and it’s very respectable of course, but I do have to admit that it makes me a bit sad that he has always wanted to be a dad, and he’d make a great one, but he now reached a point where he grew out of his desire. 🙁

I love when a person knows they’re not suited for parenthood for whatever reason and chooses to be responsible and not have kids. The world would be a much better place if more people were like this.

Some even went as far as to say that this level of responsibility should be practiced by everyone. Pointing out that human lives require a lot more from their parents than some attention, fans were glad that the actor is aware of these things.
