After an incredible beta,Marvel Rivalswent on to become one of the most popular games in December. More than 10 million gamers hopped onto the title within just three days of launch. No one could’ve predicted the success NetEase Games would go on to have with this hero shooter.

The developer has done an incredible job with the cast of heroes and villains playable in theMarvel Rivals. However, this begs the question, who could we see coming next? Many players want NetEase to bring the deadly Ghost Rider or Deadpool to the game, but if Quicksilver is brought to the title, the outrage against him will be even bigger than Iron Fist.
Quicksilver will be a menace inMarvel Rivals
Every Marvel fan knowsthe nightmare that Quicksilver can prove to be against his foes. Making his first appearance alongside his sister, Scarlet Witch, back in 1964 as one of the X-Men villains, he quickly changed his ways and became one of the core members of the original Avengers line-up, joining them in 1965’sThe Avengers#16.
In comics, his powers are quite literally broken because of his incredible super-speed that lets him move and react faster than anyone else around him. He can basically dodge every incoming attack, disarm his enemies, and manipulate everything in a matter of seconds.

Marvel Rivals Has a Disastrous Design Flaw in Quick Match That Will Push Fans to Abandon the Game if Not Fixed
In some stories, we’ve seen him running faster than bullets and completely changing the outcome of battles all by himself. His speed makes an invincible machine that no one can stop.
If NetEase brings Quicksilver toMarvel Rivals, he would be perfect for a flanking Duelist who can harass the enemy’s backlines by racing into them and taking out any strategists. Considering the fact that his sister, Scarlet Witch, is already in the game, NetEase might even give them a strong Team-Up Ability.

Quicksilver’s fast hero style, just like Tracer fromOverwatch, might make every player dread him more than Iron Fist right now. However, let’s be real: NetEase will do its best to balance this speedster. We could see multiple strategies to counter him with good aim or teamwork guarding their Strategists.
Marvel Rivalscan wreckOverwatch 2with a special mode
One of the main reasons why Blizzard went on to make anOverwatchsequel was to bring gamers PvE content. However, for some odd reason, the studio canceled its plans and left a sour taste in the mouth of everyOverwatchfan.
However, NetEase can one-upOverwatch 2in this regard as well. Currently, NetEase doesn’t have any plans to introduce PvE content to its hero-shooter as it isfocusingon delivering a strong PvP experience that players will keep coming back to.

But if NetEase decides to throw PvE into the mix, it will work extremely well, as the Marvel universe has more than 80 years of storytelling that’s waiting to be unpacked in the video gaming landscape.
Marvel has an infinite number of adventuresacross its various timelines that have captivated fans with battles and characters such as X-Men, Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy.Marvel Rivalscan use this experience to bring us unique PvE content and feature classic stories using villains such as Doctor Doom.

IfMarvel Rivalsever gets a PvE mode, it will certainly surpassOverwatch 2in the hero shooter genre.
