The Big Bang Theorycompletely transformed the sitcom genre when it premiered in 2007. The fans got a closer look at the lives of four geeky but incredible scientists and their attractive neighbor, Penny. Though there were other equally entertaining plots, the relationship between Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) was one of the most beloved.

While the characters got their happy ending in the show, the actors on the other side dated for a couple of years before splitting up (2008-2010). But the book ‘The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive Inside Story’, released during the 15th anniversary of the show in 2022, detailed some not-so-known moments between Cuoco and Galecki.

The actress recalled the moment show creator Chuck Lorre busted the duo hiding behind a car in the parking lot.
After watching Lorre, both Cuoco and Galecki hid behind the cars, but the creator had obviously spotted them. To this, Chuck Lorre responded that he couldn’t recall the scene, but it could have been his memory obstructing the stress of an on-set romance. After this,The Flight Attendantactress added:

That is such a Chuck answer! But yeah, we never even had [sx] in our dressing rooms. Absolutely fcking not. Not a chance in hell. I wouldn’t do that.

Kaley Cuoco’s interesting relationship timeline
The actress got married for the first time to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting in 2013 after only a few months of dating. But this marriage came quickly to an end, given that Cuoco filed for divorce just 21 months later, and the couple was officially divorced in 2016.
After this, the actress thought she wouldn’t get married again due to how her first marriage ended. In an interview withCosmopolitanin 2018, she added:

I married someone the first time who completely changed. The person I ended up with was not the person I originally met. And that wasn’t my fault — that was his.

The couple got engaged on her 32nd birthday in 2017 and were married on June 27, 2025. At first, it appeared as though the couple was meant to betogether.
