However, Apple suddenly pivoted from giving the film a wide release earlier this month. The film will now have a limited release on the aforementioned date and will hit Apple TV+ a week later.

Despite the limited theatrical release of the film, Apple and Watts seemed to be very pleased with the film, and a sequel was officially announced (viaApple.com) to be in development recently.
Wolfsis set to premiere on Apple TV+ on August 14, 2025, after a one-week limited release in theaters.
