Ezio is the most known Master Assassin in the series, and probably the games wouldn’t have been this successful if not for the protagonist. The recent appearance by Ezio Auditore in a new release has fans confused, especially about his outfit, which many don’t recognize.
Fans Are Clueless About Ezio’s Appearance in Assassin’s Creed
Ezio Auditore da Firenze is returning in the newMagic: The GatheringAssassin’s Creedofficial expansion, which is slated for launch in July this year. A fan took to the game’s subreddit and posted a picture of the Master Assassin, featuring a crimson and grey/black outfit, and asked where the outfit was from. The fans said that they did not recognize the outfit.

This is when the hardcore fans replied to the player, letting them know that it is a very important outfit, which many may not know as it was during the initial days of the series. One fan said that it is“Altair’s Armor,”which they can obtain inAC2after players complete the Assassin Tombs.

They also added that the outfit also appears in other games in the series. Another fan said that the game outfit has been featured inAC: Brotherhoodand has also been added by modders in games likeBlack FlagandUnity. One fan also shared the concept art of the armor for the fan to go on a“deeper level”and learn more.

Many added that the armor is“hands down the best-looking outfit in the whole series,”but the concept looks even better. The player mentioned in the comments that they thought they knew about the armor but were confused because the armor featured black sleeves with white stripes and not white sleeves with gold stripes.
Magic: The Gathering – AC Is Out This July
For those unaware,Magic: The Gatheringis a card game that often collaborates with popular gaming franchises and is also collaborating withAssassin’s Creed, which will be released on June 21, 2025. The card collection will feature popular faces from the franchise, such as Altair Ibn-La’Ahad from the original game, Eivor fromAC Valhalla, and Ezio Auditore.
The collection will also have cards based on important real-world historical figures like Cleopatra and Leonardo da Vinci and other alternate versions of cards such as borderless scene cards, memory corridors, foil variants, and the Exiled Pharaoh from the Italian and Greek.
