Once again, we get to experience another delightful spinoff of Capcom’s popularMonster Hunterseries which takes us on an RPG adventure.
Since players will be doing a lot of combat, quests, and egg collection, it’s important that you don’t lose progress. This is why in this article, we will explain how to save your game inMonster Hunter Stories 2.
Save Your Game InMH Stories 2
There are a few ways to save a game inMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
Method 1 - Auto-Save
There is an auto-save function in the game that does the job automatically for you. Upon visiting new areas, passing a checkpoint, or reaching an important stage in the story, you will notice that an icon appears in the bottom left of the screen. This is an indication that the auto-save feature is saving all your progress so far.
So the next time you want to load your game, just check the top save slot that is reserved for the auto-save game and load that if you want it.
Note:When saving, an icon will appear in the bottom left of the screen. Please do not turn off the system when this icon is displayed. You can adjust autosave settings by accessing Options > Other
Method 2 - (Manual Save) - Use Beds in Your House
Next, you can use the bed in your room just as shown at the start of the game to save your game before logging out.
If you stand in front of your bed and press A, a Save Data screen will appear. On this screen, you can choose a slot to save your data.
Note:You cannot manually overwrite the Autosave slot.
Method 3 - (Manual Save)- Use Catavan Stands
There is another manual way to save a game inMH Stories 2. You can use the Catavan Stands to save game progress.
Catavans are basically a quick travel option in the game that enables you to move around the island or transport you back to the main village. But they also serve as a way to save games when you are away from your bed.
You can save your game progress by selecting “Save” from the Catavan Stand menu.
