Capcom held its firstCapcom Special Programat TGS 2020, revealing new details on the two newMonster Huntergame coming to Nintendo Switch:Monster Hunter Rise,andMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

First off, an alternate, TGS 2020 version of theMonster Hunter Risereveal trailer was published by Capcom. you may find it further below.

Multiple details on monsters appearing inMH Risewere revealed. Though they didn’t say much on the game’s iconic monster, the Magnamalo (Magaimagado in Japanese).

The game’s base, the village of Kamura, was introduced as well. You’ll have the blacksmith and everythingMonster Huntersettlements always have, in there. Like the rest of the game, it’s a heavily Wafu stylized village.

Next, theMonster Hunter Stories 2segment followed. The staff stressed out it’s not an Action game like the usual but an RPG. Capcom wants Monster Hunter Stories 2 to be enjoyable by bothMHfans and JRPG fans worldwide. Multiple monsters from past games of the series will appear. We were introduced to the characters too.

Capcom stressed out Red isn’t the protagonist unlike what some fans initially thought. The protagonist is Red’s descendant. you may make your own character too. The character creation lets you make characters like this:

The game will have these 4 iconicMonster Hunterweapons, and two new weapons they’ll reveal later.

Next, we got introduced to Ena. She’s a Wyverian, a “human dragon” in Japanese. She’s a key character that will have a “fateful meeting with the protagonist”. More characters were teased and will be detailed later.
