The Snipers and Marksman Rifles ofModern Warfare 2are amongthe strongest and most powerful weapons in the game. Most of the weapons within each category boast a high-risk and high reward for those looking to take them into matchmaking, and only the most skilled players will be able to use them to their full effectiveness. One such high-powered Sniper Rifle is the MCPR-300, which is currently ranked as anA-tier Sniper in Modern Warfare 2.

The MCPR-300 boasts the highest accuracy of its weapon typeand draws with the Signal 50 in terms of range. However, compared to other Sniper Rifles, it is considered one of the slowest in its category. This is reflected in itsslow aim-down-sight speed. The reload speed of the Sniper is moderate compared to others of its type, but where the MCPR-300 lacks in speed, it makes up for in damage, accuracy, and range. Luckily for most, the MCPR-300 is easily obtainable, for it comespre-unlocked for Warzone 2 players. For Multiplayer, players will first need to reach level 4 to unlock Custom Loadouts.
Best Warzone 2 MCPR-300 Build
Our below build will provide a drastic increase in range and accuracy, along with improvements to recoil control, accuracy, fire rate, and damage. Though the below attachments will drastically reduce the MCPR-300’s handling, this build is perfect for Sniping opponents from afar.

Best Modern Warfare 2 MCPR-300 Build

Double Time & Battle Hardened
For your Base Perks, consider using bothDouble Timeand Battle Hardened. Doing so willincrease your resistance to both tactical equipments, thus reducing the effectiveness of most equipment used to counter Campers. This will allow you to remain in key vantage points and make it much harder for other players to flush you out.
Next, go ahead and equipFocusas your Bonus Perk. Focus willincrease your Hold Breath timeto maintain precision aiming for a longer duration. This perk also has the added benefit ofincreasing flinch resistance, which will make it much easier to land your shots whilst taking incoming damage. Lastly, go ahead and equipGhost. Ghost will make youimmune to enemy UAVs, thus keeping your location a secret from the minimap. Again this is great for maintaining control of key vantage points, as players will be unaware of your position until it’s too late.
For Warzone 2, drop Battle Hardened in favor of Overkill. Doing so will bypass the need to loot an additional primary weapon through regular looting, or through purchase at the Buy Station.
Swap-To-Secondary Recommendations
Sniper Rifles are not exactly an effective weapon for close-range gunfights unless you are extremely accurate. Therefore, ensure that you carry a reliable secondary weapon, preferably a Sidearm for their faster draw speeds. TheX13 Autois arguably the best Pistol in the game currently and is a great option in this regard. Go ahead and equip theIMPACT POINTbarrel to increase your customization options, along with the50-ROUND DRUMmagazine so that you do not have to reload as often.
For your Warzone 2 loadout, consider carrying an Assault Rifle that is reliable for most situations. We recommendthe M4orthe TAQ-56. TheM13Band theSTB 556are also good contenders due to their high mobility and ability to perform well up close. However, the range for both weapons is on the lower side.
