Junah is the most famous songstress in the kingdom of Euchronia.Her fame transcends any political conflicts, and fans from all sides admire her.

As a nidia, Junah knew many would see her as a charlatan or deceitful, so she decided to transform her words into songs, touching the public’s hearts.

She follows Louis during his campaign, and for a long time, many believed she was romantically involved with the general despite her constant flirting and teasing with the protagonist.

Unbeknownst to most, Junah was also part of the same resistance as the protagonist, and their paths cross fortuitously while they are both fleeing from Glodell, one of Louis’s lackeys.

Junah awakens to the Archetype’s power during the encounter, unlocking the Masked Dancer. She joins the group on a whim but gradually becomes more invested in the protagonist’s ideals and causes.

Junah’s Bond Ranks Explained

To reach Junah’s maximum rank, you’ll need to have four points in Imagination. Then, you can talk to the songstress at night in the Gauntlet Runner to engage in a social interaction and subsequently increase her rank.

As Junah joins the party about halfway through the game, specifically after theSkyrunner Charadrius event, there’s no requirement tied to the main story. You need to do a quest to start her Bond, but after that, all your encounters will occur in the parked Gauntlet Runner.

Must complete “Save the Mourning Snakes” request

It takes some time before you can initiate a New Bond with Junah, but the earliest is after completing the “Ancestral Solution” request, which requires crafting a Potion of Blight on Virga Island.

Afterward, before heading to theDragon Temple, you can speak to Junah to receive the “Save the Mourning Snakes” request, which asks you to go to the Orbwise Path map and eliminate some monsters. The request is straightforward and only requires clearing the dungeon.

Junah mentions that some of Virga Island’s inhabitants are her fans, and they’ve shared concerns about monsters raiding tombs in Orbwise Path.

After clearing the dungeon, Junah names the protagonist as her personal escort, stating that they are risking their lives for the same goal, thus beginning a new Bond with the songstress.

Junah invites the protagonist for a shopping spree in Brilehaven. It doesn’t take long before she’s recognized by a young nidia fan, whom Junah delights with a short singing session.

The songstress mentions that she has a soft spot for nidia children because she knows the prejudice their race faces from others.

It’s time to celebrate, but with who?

It doesn’t take long before Junah starts getting recognized by civilians, and she and the protagonist must leave the main street. Still, a merchant, Capra, approaches her in a friendly manner.

He comments that he honors the laborers' prosperity with an annual festival and invites Junah to be the singer this year, which she promptly accepts.

Battle Aura - While in reserve, the amount of experience Junah gains increases

Back in Brilehaven, Junah starts preparing for the festival, but the protagonist loses sight of her. From the corner of his eye, he sees a child who looks a lot like her, but Junah soon returns.

Capra mentions that last year’s dress is being prepared for Junah to wear this year, and everything is proceeding smoothly.

Until a roussainte lady appears, cursing Junah and accusing her of stealing the stage for herself. Capra says her name is Myrtus, and she was the main singer at last year’s festival.

Junah isn’t shaken by Myrtus' threats and says that the greater the challenge, the more determined she feels.

Masked Dancer Veneration - Significantly reduces the MAG cost of studying the Masked Dancer Lineage

Junah and the protagonist head to the tailor to pick up the festival dress, only to find that Myrtus has already taken it, claiming to be Junah’s employee.

When they find Myrtus, the roussainte says she has just turned the dress into ashes and threatens Junah, saying that if she goes ahead with the show, she’ll scatter poisonous erika flowers all over the stage.

For the first time, Junah is shaken, admitting she has a deep fear of erika flowers. Junah starts to believe that she has stolen Myrtus' spotlight and hesitates until she remembers why she chose to be a singer.

With the protagonist’s support, Junah’s motivation is renewed, and she decides she’ll sing as she is without needing a fancy dress.

Scion’s Merit - Increases skill inheritance slots for the Masked Dancer Lineage to three

Imagination (4+)

You need to have four or more points in Imagination to proceed with this rank.The duofast travelto Brilehaven, and the show is about to start. Junah’s presence alone has attracted quite a crowd.

She tells the protagonist that his role is to act as an escort and a bodyguard. When Capra warns him that Myrtus is in the audience, he immediately looks for her.

Junah’s performance ends without any incidents and proves to be a success. In the end, the protagonist finds Myrtus, who intended to spread the erika flowers on the stage—at least, until Junah started singing.

Junah’s song pleased the laborers and convinced Myrtus that she was wrong. The roussainte says she will return to the countryside.

A traditional RPG class system in an ATLUS game? Well, now I’ve seen everything!

An over-the-moon Junah meets the protagonist backstage when a sanctist appears, offering a warm beverage to the songstress.

Before she can drink this unknown liquid from a totally non-suspicious person, Myrtus shows up, chasing the man away. As the sanctist flees, he bumps into Myrtus, spilling the beverage on her, which is erika flower poison.

The toxin spreads through Myrtus, damaging her throat and leaving her unable to speak. An antidote can only be made by crushing erika flowers, and Junah says she knows where to find them, even though she’s visibly terrified.

Masked Dancer Archetype: Elite - The party can now study the Persona Master Archetype

Junah says she needs to tell the protagonist a secret about the nidias and asks him to leave the room.

When he returns, he sees the same nidia child from before, who turns out to be none other than the songstress herself.

She reveals that the entire nidia tribe disguises themselves in this way because they look like small children, and no one would take them seriously.

Time to show the world that a King’s sword is mightier than the pen.

Junah then shares more about her past, explaining how she was enslaved before being adopted by Rella’s family.

The only thing she remembers is being tied up for days in a field of erika flowers, cold and starving, with only her singing keeping her sane.

Junah decides it’s time to face her fears and terrible memories of her past by returning to the field of erika flowers to help Myrtus.

Battle Hypnosis - While in reserve, Junah will gain experience at the normal rate

Finally, they head to the erika flower field, and Junah has flashbacks of the past, saying she can almost hear the song she used to sing.

She manages to collect all the necessary erika leaves and notices she didn’t get so stressed out that she lost the glamour of her transformation.

With the antidote in hand, they deliver it to Myrtus, who quickly drinks it and regains her voice. The roussainte thanks Junah, confused by her unsolicited kindness.

Junah says she knows how important a singer’s voice is and that she would like to hear Myrtus sing one day. The girl apologizes to Junah, admitting that she felt pure jealousy, but she sees the emotion in Junah’s words while she sings.

The two make amends, challenging each other to a sing-off in the future, promising to keep improving in the art of music.

The two singers exchange some friendly banter, promise to meet again, and maybe share a stage.

Junah comes to the conclusion that she sings for the power of song. Myrtus shows fiery passion in her singing, while Junah aims to inspire hope in people.

The songstress declares she’ll do whatever it takes to create a world where everyone can hear her songs in peace, without today’s tragedies.

Thus ends Junah’s Bonds, and now you’ve unlockedone of the best Follower abilities ever, the Heroes' Hymn.
