Natasha Romanoff’s swan-song adventure still stings a little after the debut ofBlack Widowlast month. It may be the end of the line for Scarlett Johansson’s Russian spy but the mantle is thought to be passed to her younger sister Yelena Belova during Phase 4. Florence Pugh will return as the sarcastic widow that won the hearts of many in Disney+’sHawkeyeseries, but it is still up in the air whether she will become the White Widow, take on the Ronan persona or carve a separate mantle.
As Marvel fans look forward to the future of the MCU, theBlack Widowblooper reel is the gift that keeps on giving, uniting Johansson, Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour in a glorious reel of laughs and funny faces.
Black WidowBlooper Reel
The two-and-a-half-minute blooper reel was released by Marvel Studios a few weeks ago and has been uploaded by various users across the internet. The collage of forgotten lines, stunts gone wrong and dancing in between takes is enough to make Dreykov crack a smile. A few of the comedic high notes include Weisz’s startled reaction to helicopter spotlights appearing overhead, the cast’s struggle to speak technical jargon and Pugh’s “Did I do it? Did I save the world?” line.
The blooper reels from the MCU, especially those belonging to the Avengers films, have always been a spectacle for fans to look forward to. The reel does a great job at demonstrating the bond that the actors have on set, which truly encapsulates the notion of mixing work and pleasure. TheBlack Widowcast shares the same enthusiasm with the new additions of Pugh, Weisz and Harbour and Johansson’s good spirit is the cherry on top of the black and red cake.
Black WidowBlu-ray and DVD Release
The physical release will come with additional content, including the wonderful, aforementioned blooper reel, as well as various deleted scenes. Some of these scenes include extra footage of Natasha and Yelena’s motorbike chase and Natasha’s grocery shopping spree.
