The journey of Enzo as he slowly gains the trust and loyalty of the Torisi family soon brings him to an underhanded task in Chapter 9 ofMafia: The Old Country, where he must help and bring back an associate working in Baron Fontalella’s factory, Lorenzetti.
After inquiring about leads on where to find him, the trail leads Enzo to the factory itself, a place he must infiltrate and reach the office to learn new information, with dozens of Spadaro men occupying the location.

But worry not,I’ve prepared a guide that’ll help you easily make your way through the factory, without getting seen by any Spadaro family goons,as well as help you acquire the secret trophy/achievement associated with this mission.
Gear Preparation
Before you actually even head to Collezolfo, you should ideally prepare by gearing up with weapons in case things turn south, and believe me, they’ll turn south once you successfully finish infiltrating the factory.
I strongly recommend bringing a good Scannaturi or Stiletto knife.The former knife type allows you to use them as throwing knives, and the best one in that category is the Agghiri.
In contrast,the latter type has greater durability,which is why I chose it for itseasy stealth takedownsto avoid any button-mashing prompts.
Lastly, for the weapons, choose any that you like. The sequences past the factory are roughly close-quarters, I’d say. The Lupara is great for your holstered firearm, while your primary one can be either a shotgun or rifle, depending on your preference.
With that said, let’s jump into the walkthrough for the factory infiltration itself.
How To Infiltrate The Factory
Outer Courtyard
There are two different routes you can actually take here,which I’ve marked in the image above. The left one, which has a ladder leading in, or the right one that leads into a courtyard. After trying both, I strongly recommend the left one because it seemed quicker to me.
Get up the ladder and proceed to walk in crouched, otherwise you’ll alert the enemies at the immediate bottom here. Sneak up against the pillar here and wait for the two Spadaro Mafioso to stop talking, and then take the one out on the right here, as shown above, by sneaking up behind him when he’s walking away.
Head over to the left and take out his accomplice. From here, proceed forward,but go behind the log pile because another enemy is standing against a barricade,which we don’t want to alert by coming from the side, or else he’ll spot you.
Perform a stealth takedown in the manner I’ve shown above in the image, and you should now be in the clear to move into the side entrances of the factory to enter the interior section of the building.

Factory Interior
Once inside, immediately take cover behind the crates as shown above and wait for the two gangsters to finish their conversation. Then, hop over and grab the one leaning against the cover for a swift and easy takedown.
Proceed to the right and take down another guy from the workbench.Be sure to pry open the locked box with your knife to earn some extra Dinari.
This next one is a bit technical, but I’ve got you covered. Take note of the patrolling mafioso in the middle with the larger gangster, and then head to the top-right next to the lockers.
The trick is to wait for thepatrolling mafiosoto walk towards the right side and then throw a coin near the machinery in front of you here to lure him in for the takedown. It’s slightly tricky, but if done correctly, like I’ve demonstrated in the images, you won’t even alert the brute guarding the second interior entrance.
You can find the Pragmatico Charm on a table in the middle, which I’ve showcased above; it improves your accuracy when blind firing or shooting from the hip.
Do the same thing with the brute;throw a coin to the opposite side from your position and swoop in for the stealth takedown.
Second Interior
Past the brute henchman, ignore the enemies outside, move in through the doors here, and immediately take cover behind the stack of crates. Same as before, wait for the two mafiosos to finish their yapping and then move in to take the standing one out of the equation.
Finally, although this is the last guy you’ll need to be worried about, we don’t want to mess this up now, or else you’ll be sent back to the beginning of the infiltration. Move in quietly again, and when his back’s turned away, take him down.
Head up the stairs,BUT before you open the doors, be sure to grab another charm sitting on the bench here,and don’t forget it like I did. It’s the Brutale that enhances the damage dealt by your ranged weapons, which is fantastic, especially if you’re playing on Hard difficultyas I did during my initial playthrough.
Head inside the factory’s main office to complete the infiltration,and if you did it exactly as I planned, you’ll earn The Old Ways Achievement/Trophyfor successfully reaching the Foreman’s office without alerting any enemies.
The aftermath of this objective is pretty on-rails; you’ll need to take out enemies as the factory crumbles, and after narrowly escaping it, you’ll also be met with a knife duel boss fight at the very end, so verify you’re prepared for that.
