Marta made a lasting impression on the hearts of viewers while appearing in television shows such asThe Rookies, Starsky & Hutch, Charlie’s Angels, Matt Houston, The F.B.I., Cannon, The Streets of San Francisco,andBarnaby Jones. She starred inJoe Kiddin 1972 with Robert Duvall & Clint Eastwood and inFootloosein 1984 with Kevin Bacon.

We learned from theNew York Post, that her marriage to Brick Huston lasted from 1968 to 1975. Soul died a week before Marta’s death.

The entertainment industry was left with an immense void when this US-born actor died a week before his former partner Lynne Marta’s death. They had an “open relationship,” according to a 1983 People magazine article. The article clarified,
“All through the Starsky and Hutch years David and Lynne lived together but spent time with other people.”
