Knowing Majima is all broke with nothing at the start, earning money will be the most imperative thing to do at the beginning of your pirate life.
Especially later on,when you must max out every skill and ability he has while paying for theship upgrades.
With that in mind, I’ve prepared a guide to help you quickly farm money inLike a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaiiwith all the notable methods found in the game.
Looting Treasure Chests
One of the most common ways you’ll earn money inPirate Yakuzais by looting the treasure cratesyou find while skirmishing on islands or exploring Hawaii.
Sometimes, you’ll also be rewarded with treasure chests when defeating boss-level ships after Deck Battles.
In your Treasury of Treasures section,you can keep track of the treasure you’ve plundered.
The game will actively reward you with a spoonful of money and a good reputation when you find one, depending on the treasure’s rarity.
If you complete a whole set of treasures in their line-up, you’ll receive a bonus sum of cash and rep.Towards the end of the game, these treasures will increasingly offer higher amounts of cash for looting them.
In your downtime with the main story, I strongly advise going out of your way to tackle any islands you can find or using your Chain Hook when Noah spots something in Hawaii, as they can all lead you to treasure chests to reward you with those extra bucks.
Madlantis Pirate Coliseum
An extra way to gain cash in your spare time is by going through thevarious ship and deck battles at the Madlantis Pirate Coliseum,as long as you may get through them steadily with a good enough rating at the end.
The Quick Clash consists of your typical battles against a crew on your ship, followed by a deck battle to finish things off.

Why make the Mad Dog walk when you’ve got the trusty Street Surfer to ride in style?
If your Boarding Crew is strong enough, and you feel confident,you can try tackling a series of those deck battles in a row with the Madlantis Mania bouts.
All of these battles and their first-time completions can reward you with a decent chunk of change and reputation for your hard-fought victories.
It’s not the most optimal way to grind money, but you’ll hammer away at the Coliseum for main story reasons later. I suggest that you complete some of the early-to-mid-game battles in it.
Completing Wanted Bounties
The easiest way to make tons of cash inLike a Dragon: Pirate Yakuzais to defeat and complete the various Wanted Bounty targets across Hawaii.
These targets are first introduced to you by the Diamond Bar’s owner, who’ll notify you of additional bounties after you complete the city’s first wave.
Besides Hawaii, a few of the Wanted Bounty targets are also present on Rich Island and Madlantis.
Depending on their difficulty, these bounties can reward you from $16,000 to $32,000 for completing them.It is the quickest way to earn money, and these battles typically range from crowd-control to single-target boss fights.
The initial bounties already offer grand prize money. But towards the end, with the second wave,you can fight special ones that reward you with $50,000, such as the Golden Samurai.
