DeveloperRyu Ga Gotoku Studiosand PublisherSEGAhave announced their upcoming action-adventure gameLike A Dragon: Ishin!will receive an exclusive DLC skin that dresses up protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma as Yakuza series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu. The DLC will be available for those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of Like A Dragon: Ishin!
Alongside the release of a new trailer, aTwitter announcement from SEGAreads, “Kazuma Kiryu in the world of the Restoration!? This is a skin change DLC where Ryoma Sakamoto looks like Kazuma Kiryu. How about experiencing the world of the end of the Edo period as Kazuma Kiryu and feeling like you’ve slipped back in time?”

As mentioned previously, the new skin will be available via the Digital Deluxe Edition, which also comes with a four-day early access starting on February 17th. Also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition are the following add-ons:
SEGA also released a trailer showcasing what the DLC dubbed “Dragon of Dojima” will look like. Incidentally, Kazuma Kiryu ispoised to return to Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man who Erased his Namelater this year. In the game, the protagonist is expected to reveal what happened to him afterYakuza 6: The Song of Lifeand set a prelude to Like a Dragon 8, which will rejoin the storylines and include two protagonists alongside Ichiban Kasuga, theYakuza: Like a Dragonhero.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! will launch forPlayStation 4,PlayStation 5,Xbox One,Xbox Series X|S, and PC viaSteamon July 15, 2025. Physical and digital pre-orders will grant players with special pre-order bonuses, including Kijinmaru Kunishige, Bloody Sheen, and Black Ship Cannon weapons.
Recently, developer RGG Studiorevealed PC hardware requirementsfor the game, as well as confirming the existence of a few fun cameos, including actor Rahul Kohli and AEW pro-wrestler Kenny Omegain the form of Trooper Cards.
