While there’s no shortage of licenses that have been given the LEGO treatment when it comes to games, it seems we almost had one based on one of the most famous fictional spies in history, and that’sJames Bond.
Apparently,TT Games, the studio behind LEGO titles such as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, LEGO Harry Potter Collection, etc., worked on a LEGO version of 007, and there’s even a trailer for it that rose to the surface today.
LEGO James Bond By TT Games Was In Development At Some Point
The trailer was uploaded by Linterni Gamer, who states that they got it on an undisclosed Discord channel and even tags the oficial TT Games YouTube channel and mentioned how the video is not theirs, and if the studio didn’t want it, they would remove it.
“Confidential (TT Games Studio) - Not for Distribution. R&D Content Only - Not Representative of Final Products.” is stamped all throughout the trailer, which adds an air of authenticity to the video. Based on the footage, this could either be a pitch by TT Games to make LEGO James Bond game, or this was an in-development project at one point that never saw the light of day.

The James Bond franchise gave us several amazing movies over the years, but these are surely some of the best and most memorable ones.
For now, the only known James Bond video game in development is the one being made by IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman franchise. Announced back in 2021, the project is still in development, and we haven’t seen any actual gameplay footage of it just yet. IO did talk about it recently, and said that their James Bond game isan entirely new original story, and will focus on how Bond joins MI6.
IO Interactive plans to put their own spin on the character, so don’t expect it to resemble any of James Bond characters from the movies.
Would a LEGO version of Bond even work? I wouldn’t count out TT Games, as the company has succesfully remade almost every big franchise under the sun to great success. The studio’s last game was LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which was released back in 2022, and it continued the company’s streak of successfully adapting licenses to LEGO form.
