If you’re looking for this resource, you’re going to need to find a cave.you’re able to find caves peppered throughout the Grasslands.Once you walk by one, it will be marked on your map, so you can always find your way back.Once you’re in the cave, you’re looking for wood growing in a spiral out of the wall or ceiling.That’s the Knotroot! Be sure to bring some regular wood with you into the cave. If you see some Knotroot a little too high for you to reach, just build some stairs up to it!

How To Get Knotroot
If you’re looking to harvest the Knotroot you see all over the cave walls and ceilings, you’re going to need an axe that is green rarity or better.You can craft one of these at your Crafting Bench. Once you have your axe, you’re ready to swing away and collect this valuable resource. As a tip, you should bring several axes with you and keep a clear inventory to gather as much as possible on a single trip. The same caves also have Marble in them, so bring a green pickaxe if you want to collect both resources at the same time.
