Death Stranding Directors Cuton PC seems to be a reality now with Intel announcing its partnership with Kojima Productions and 505 Games to implement its XeSS technology into this highly popular game.
Earlier in 2021, Kojima Productions revealed thatDeath Strandingwill receive a Director’s Cut edition on PlayStation 5, but now it seems similar to the original game, this edition will be available on personal comupters as well.

As you may already know, CES 2022 will officially kick off tomorrow on January 5, and this is an expo where hardware giants such as Nvidia, AMD, and Intel will have some special announcements.
Death Stranding Directors Cut to Be the First PC Game to Support Intel’s XeSS Technology.
According to a leaked press release from Intel, which has been shared byVideoCardz, the company is supposed to reveal its Arc graphics units in CES 2022, which will also feature the XeSS technology, a Super Sampling ability that works in a similar way to AMD’s FSR and Nvidia’s DLSS.
As noted in the press release, Neil Rally, president of 505 Games, announces thatDeath Stranding Director’s Cuton personal computers will support Intel’s XeSS. He says:
We are delighted to announce our partnership with Intel for Death Stranding Director’s Cut Edition on PC. Death Stranding has been a hugely popular game with PC players and we are excited to see how Intel’s new XeSS technology will enhance the player experience for Director’s Cut.

As the press release reveals, Ubisoft, Techland, PUBG Studios, Codemasters 505 Games, IO Interactive, and Fishlabs are some of the other studios that will implement the support of XeSS technology into their titles.
If this turns out to be true, we should probably expect the official announcement ofDeath Stranding Director’s Cutfor Steam or Epic Games Store in the next few days.
