During the last few hours, Kojima tweeted a few times about his experience in12 Minutes, admiring the game’s cast, especiallyWillem Dafoefor his Lighthouse-like performance in the game.
In one tweet, Kojima said that he has not been into a game like this since Playdead’sInside. Soon after that, Kojima said that12 Minutes"kinda makes [him] want to create another adventure game."
Now, this tweet received huge attention from his fans on Twitter as they believe it might be a tease for Kojima’s next project.
Currently, A Director’s Cut edition fromDeath Strandingis on the way to hit PS5 this year. But beyond that, no one knows what would be Kojima’s next project. Some believe that after his collaboration with Google was terminated, he might join forces with Microsoft for his next project.
That being said, it’s always tough to predict Hideo Kojima’s next move. The only thing that we do know is that he is working on something new, but no one really knows what this could be.
