WhileHideo Kojimajust recently released Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, there’s no time to rest for the legendary game creator, as there are multiple projects lined up already.
One of these projects is being developed by Kojima in collaboration with PlayStation, and it will see Kojima return to the espionage genre.

This, of course, has fans excited, given Kojima made a name for himself with Konami’s Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Kojima’s Espionage Game Is In Early Days
In a new interview withIndiewire, Kojima was asked what he was working on now that Death Stranding 2 has shipped.
Kojima not only confirmed that the horror game he’s co-developing with Xbox titled “OD” is still in development, but his espionage game titled “Physint” isn’t even in full development yet.

“Well, I’m checking the data of the players all over the world — what kind of weapons they’re using, the routes they’re taking, all this data. And I also see these small bugs here and there, so I’m deciding where to fix and what to fix. I also am starting to work with the team on “OD” because that’s a new project, and also doing “Physint” all by myself because that’s at the conceptual stage. So I’m doing that. And also I have all these interviews every day, and also promotional — photo-shootings, things like that — so I don’t feel like I’ve finished the title, to be frank,” Kojima answered.
It’s good to hear that both games are still in development, but given Kojima’s statement, it appears that both titles are a long way off from being released.

Battlefield 6 Tries To Copy Kojima, And That’s A Good Thing
A tale of mercenaries, complex geopolitical themes, and silly naming conventions.
Aside from the two games, Kojima has confirmedhe’s working on a Death Stranding feature film, aDeath Stranding anime adaptation, and evenhas ideas for a third game in the franchisealready.

Not only that, but Kojima also has a crazy idea for a “forgetting game” that we don’t know whether he’ll pursue down the road or not.
Giventhe reception Death Stranding 2 has received, whatever Kojima cooks up will be something worth keeping an eye out for.

As a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, I’m hoping we get to see more of Physint sooner rather than later. For now, we’ll have to be patient and wait for Kojima to drop more info about it.
Espionage fans do have something to look forward to, and it’s a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The remade game on Unreal Engine 5 titled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, will be released on August 28, andbased on Konami’s planned review embargo lift, they have utmost confidence the title won’t disappoint.
