Gules really talks up the threat of this final foe before you set off on your journey, but this is a quest you’re sure to be able to manage if you’ve already dealt with the rest of this band of hardened criminals.
Here’s how to complete this final challenge and put Gules' ghosts to rest once and for all.
Speak With Gules In Semine
Two to three days after convincing Johnny the Gob to skip town, Gules' final “New Quest” marker will appear over his location in Semine. By now, you know the routine. Gules has one more favor to ask of you.
He explains that your final boss, Casper, has taken residence in Apollonia to the far east of the Trosky region.
Gules will also warn you that Casper is extremely dangerous, and his bandit gang is the largest one you’ve faced yet. If you’ve made it this far, however, you’re more than capable of taking this challenge on as well.
Once again, you’ll need to bring a trophy to Gules, and in this case, you’ll need to bring back Casper’s gold ring to prove your victory.
Hunt Down Casper
When examining your search area for Casper’s camp, notice a small break in the trees in the northwest, where you’re able to easily enter the woods. This is your best point of entry. As such, starting from Tachov and looping around the north side of Trosky Castle is your most direct path to travel.
Proceed with caution here. Casper and his gang aren’t all huddled together in the same location, so you won’t be able to find them all easily. Compared to each previous mission, these bandits are much more spread out and randomly encountered.
As soon as you enter the woods, you’ll likely be spotted and have to start defending yourself.
In the scuffle, Casper will eventually show himself. There are no tricks to fighting him compared to anyone else you’ve previously met, so use your basic melee, block, and riposte routine to take him down as well.
Once the coast is clear and no one else is actively attacking you, turn your attention to Casper’s corpse and the gold ring he was wearing. Claim the ring along with anything else on his body that you want.
Don’t let your guard down even after you’ve defeated every enemy that was attacking you. Since Casper’s gang is spread out so widely, you may still bump into a couple more as you explore the woods.
Loot Casper’s Camp
Casper will also have a set of keys that you can loot from his body. As usual, these are used to unlock a nearby chest, and you’ll find this one at the back of his camp.
Open the chest with your keys and claim the following:

Report Your Victory
Return the ring to Gules back in Semine, and he’ll thank you for your efforts in finally ridding Trosky of his former band of criminals.
Be sure to ask to keep the ring; Gules will allow you to have it. Additionally, asking for a further reward for completing all of his tasks will earn you 95 Groschen.

Will his troubles now taken care of, Gules becomes a new Skill Teacher for Henry. For a price, he can train you in four different areas, resulting in extra experience points gained for Henry in each related skill.
