Japanese studio âge held on October 22 the “âge 20th Anniversary broadcast [still breathing]” live stream. During the stream, âge’s Yoshimune Kouki announced a new game,Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien Reboot.The first key visual for the game was shared, showing one of the main characters, Haruka Suzumiya.This is the same visual which was revealed in early August as a teaser.
Besides the game’s logo and the Haruka key visual, nothing much was shared about the game, and it’s still in early planning phase. “Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien Reboot” is a tentative title as well. However, Matsumura Kazutoshi (Tororo), who works on the game and on multiple future âge projects, said he “wishes to make this new version ofKimiNozomore deeply connected to theMuv Luvseries”. He also wishes to rework the game’s systems and make it into something interesting by today’s standards.

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eienis âge ’s most iconic franchise withMuv Luvso it’s not surprising it’s getting a reboot. Yoshimune Kouki mentioned during the stream thatKimi Ga Nozomu Eienbasically defined âge as it is today.
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien(also known asKGNEorKiminozo) first released in 2001 on PC in Japan and is âge’s first tremendous, worldwide successful franchise. The game received console ports and got multiple adaptations including multiple anime, which were localized under the title “Rumbling Hearts”. Multiple sequels and spinoffs were released since then.
New illustrations of Mitsuki and Haruka byKimiNozo’s character designer Baka-Ouji Persia were also shown on stream.
