Yuji was not fighting Mahito single-handedly, as the jujutsu sorcerer received help from others at various moments throughout the fights. One of whom was Kugisaki Nobara, who seemingly died at the hands of Mahito. However, neither the anime nor the manga have given any clarity on whether Nobara lives or dies. Will Yuji Finally Seal Mahito’s Fate Or Will Geto Save Mahito?
The short answer is thatMahito gets killed by Geto, or Pseudo-Geto, or Kanjaku. After all the mayhem and brutal fighting in the Shibuya Incident Arc, one more death will be added to the tally when Pseudo-Geto absorbs Mahito by utilizing Geto’s Cursed Spirit Manipulation technique.
The last scene of the latest Jujutsu Kaisen episode, featuring Mahito running for his life from Yuji, is what every fan wanted to see the fight come to. After witnessing the deaths of multiple fan-favorite characters, it’s clear as day that Mahito had to go. However, Yuji will not be the one to kill the cursed spirit after all.
After a very exhausting fight between the two, and with the help of Yuji’s brother, Todo, Yuji finally managed to overpower Mahito. Even after Mahito utilized his new form, with impenetrable skin, Yuji did irreversible damage to Mahito’s body with multiple black flashes.
Having finally run out of juice and transfigured humans, a sobbing Mahito desperately tries to crawl away to safety, only to find himself at the feet of Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku. The episode ends with Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku asking if Mahito needs to be saved. Little does he know that Pseudo-Geto will end up consuming Mahito after sealing him. Amid all this, Yuji, after sensing that Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku has Gojo locked in the prison realm, demands his sensei back.
After Mahito is gone from the scene, Pseudo-Geto/Kenjaku quickly overpowers Yuji with the help of innumerable cursed spirits and seemingly endless cursed energy at his disposal. Kenjaku toys with Yuji and explains his infamous “Maximum Uzumaki” technique. The events leading will have many characters rush to the scene with many interesting revelations coming forward.
