Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 228 Spoilers

The chapter opens with a discussion among the characters about the logical enhancement of a small barrier for stability, despite its seemingly insignificant size compared to a basketball. Kusakabe expresses disbelief, exclaiming that it was impossible to do so, and Mei Mei interjects, remarking that they have seen so many impossible things in such a short time.

Kusakabe argues that trapping oneself and an opponent inside a barrier with less mass than either of them would typically result in its collapse. However, Choso enlightens the group, revealing that Gojo is achieving this feat by leveraging his experience of being trapped inside the Prison Realm.

Kusakabe continues to question how they can manipulate the conditions of Domains, particularly barriers, which are composed of various factors. Higuruma and Hakari respond with skepticism, asking if it is truly possible. Kusakabe responds by stating that their Domains are exceptions because they are constructed within their CT.

Mei Mei speculates that Gojo might have attempted to cover the entire range of the Malevolent Shrine. Suddenly, Gojo’s Domain barrier begins to tremble violently. Yuta realizes that Sukuna must have reduced the Shrine’s range to amplify its power. Angel warns that if the barrier is destroyed, Gojo will be in grave danger.

However, as feared, Gojo’s barrier shatters once again. Yuji anxiously watches the unfolding scene, and surprisingly, Sukuna’s Shrine also begins to crumble. Sukuna is revealed to be injured after an intense battle with Gojo inside the Domain. It is then revealed that, just as Sukuna shattered Gojo’s barrier from the outside, Gojo inflicted enough damage to prevent Sukuna from maintaining his Domain.

Higuruma states that since both Sukuna and Gojo’s Domains have collapsed, neither of them can utilize CT. Maki adds that Gojo can heal his exhausted CT as he did before, but Angel points out that since Gojo demonstrated this in front of Sukuna, the curse can now do the same.

An example of Sukuna’s mastery over adapting to changes is then stated. With a single instance of Kenjaku’s assistance in splitting his soul into 20 cursed objects, Sukuna instantly learned how to accomplish it by himself. In a similar way, Sukuna can also restore his burnt-out CT with RCT because Gojo revealed the technique.

The battle resumes, and Gojo lands a kick on Sukuna and ponders why Sukuna is not attempting to use CT other than the Shrine. Gojo wonders why he had an upper hand against Sukuna for nearly three minutes. So, why Sukuna is opting for such a risky strategy? Gojo tries to comprehend why Sukuna didn’t employ the 10 shadow Technique or Mahoraga inside the Domain. Just as he contemplates this, Mahoraga’s wheel takes a turn, and Gojo starts feeling nauseated, and blood runs from his nose.
