In an interview with Complex Music onInstagram, the star shared one thing he always does for friends that he loves.
The 26-year-old admitted that he would ask his friends if he had their permission to build them a bed frame. If they said yes, Smith would take his time and even leave them a little gift to find later.
I’ll like, write a note for them and like, put it on the thing and then be like, drill it into the bed frame so they can’t read the note until such a long time has passed that they actually have to disassemble the bed, and when they disassemble the bed, they find this note in it and sh*t and it’s like from me.
Although Smith did not think it was a big deal, there’s no doubt that any friend he did this for thought otherwise. After all, building something from scratch takes a long time and a whole lot of material and patience to make.
However, with Smith’s recent break up earlier this year, the actor seemed to have nothing but time on his hands. ThePursuit of Happynessstar even went on to state,“So like, I’m a carpenter, like I build shit with my hands when I’m bored.”
