It was only a few weeks ago that Ariana Grande, one of the biggest pop artists in the world, hosted a record-breaking concert inside ofFortnite.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like J Balvin will be hosting his own concert inFortnitebut he will be receiving his very own skin set. Here’s everything you need to know.
Who Is J Balvin?
J Balvin is a singer from Colombia, he is one of the best-selling Latin music artists and has sales of more than 35 million records worldwide.
Although J Balvin is one of the most influential artists in Colombia, he has also worked with various English-speaking artists such as Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Cardi B, and most recently, Skrillex.
When Will The J Balvin Skin & Emote Release InFortnite?
UPDATE:J Balvin has been confirmed to be joiningFortniteon Thursday, August 26th at 8PM ET.
ORIGINAL:An official release date hasn’t been announced just yet, but variousFortniteleakers believe the full J Balvin set will arrive on Monday, August 23rd when the Item Shop reset occurs.
The Item Shop usually resets at 5PM PT / 1AM BST.
However, J Balvin currently has a video set to premiere on his YouTube channel at 6AM PT / 2PM BST titled “J.Balvin New Emote in Fortnite”. So, an official release date will likely be announced then. Make sure to check out thepremiere on the artist’s YouTube channelfor more details.
