Jennifer Lopez does not blame anyone but theSuper Bowl, feeling upset about how she and Shakira were done dirty. Her manager, Benny Medina, also spoke on the subject, specifically talking about how it showed a sort of bias on their part. He stated that it was insulting for two Latina artists who are at the heights of their fame, to perform in a lesser time frame than one single person would have been given.
“This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl.”said Lopez,

Medina also added that,“Typically, you have one headliner at a Super Bowl. That headliner constructs a show, and, should they choose to have other guests, that’s their choice. It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist historically has done.”
