It was revealed that Shueisha gave Tite Kubo a deadline of one year to wrap up his magnum opus, which led to the backlash.

But after several years, the mangaka revealed that he hadpersonal reasons behind ending Bleach. Tite Kubo was suffering from a torn tendon on his left shoulder. His physical health was deteriorating, and he did not want to leave an unfinished manga. So, Kubo asked Shuiesha to give him a year or two to finishBleach. The publisher gave him one year, and he completed theThousand Year Blood Wararc within the given time.
Tite Kubo is not the only one who had to end his magnum opus abruptly. The Mangaka often has a tight schedule, which leads to physical and mental problems. As a result, he cannot give his best to a job that is already full of pressure.Yoshihiro Togashiis one of the many mangaka who had to abruptly endYu Yu Hakushodue to his health issues. Moreover, Kubo never got a chance to have surgery and concluded the manga with his torn tendon.

Many new Bankai have been introduced along with new sequences. It has received positive feedback from the fans. The arc has been divided into several parts, with the third part about to be released soon. Even though the mangaka’s health conditions led to the downfall of the series, his involvement with the anime is bringing back the glory days and reinstating Bleach as one of the Big Three of anime.
