Recently, theLet’s Get Loudhitmaker was interviewed by the iconicNikki GlaseronInterview Magazine. The American singer opened up about her struggle dealing with low self-esteem, something that Glaser also admitted battling.
Lopez revealed she developed low self-esteem because of how her parents treated her while she was much younger. She said,
It was just being ignored, being a middle child, having a very outgoing mom and a dad who worked all day and worked all night and feeling like you weren’t important, like you weren’t a priority.
This is something a lot of children deal with, especially as they move into their teenage years. And it’s never an easy feeling to navigate through, understandably.

I’m comfortable with this person treating me this way or that way.” That, for me, has been a journey. I think my whole life I’ve just been trying to say I’m good enough, until where I am now, when I know. I’m giving myself credit.
