However, it is not only Cavill’s hairstyle that’s new in this movie, but Vaughn has also made the Sherlock Holmes actor pull off some unique action sequences in the movie.

In a recent interview, Henry Cavill spoke about an action sequence where he and his co-star, Sam Rockwell, needed to do the same stunt so that the director could intercut between the two. Henry Cavill will sport a new action sequence inArgylle
During a conversation withEntertainment Weekly, Henry Cavill talked about the difficulties of filming the sequence. The challenge of the sequence was for Cavill and his co-star Sam Rockwell to mimic similar stunts in a train fight. In the respective fight scene, Bryce Dallas Howard’s Elly Conway sees Cavill in a sequence where she is being saved by Rockwell’s Aiden Wilde.
The unique stunt sequence needed the DC and the Marvel star to mimic each other’s movements and synchronize them properly. Cavill explained how the stunt was tricky and quite complex but fun to carry out.

“Sam and I were watching each other and just trying to make sure that we had a similarity of movements. Certain movements worked better for him, so I would mimic those, and then different movements in other places worked better for me, so he would copy those. Fight scenes are tricky and complex, especially in a cramped space like that with lots of hard edges.”
Henry Cavilladded that Sam Rockwell’s presence also made the scene quite easier as they both could have some rest while the camera moved. However, no matter how hard it was, theEnola Holmesactor enjoyed it-“It was definitely a new way of doing things, but I enjoyed it. It was a good challenge.”

Now we have to watch how the fight sequence looks in its entirety but Cavill has already proved his action skills many times in the past with projects likeMission Impossible: FalloutandMan of Steel.

Matthew Vaughn spoke highly about Sam Rockwell
While Henry Cavill has already been praised a lot for his action sequences, Sam Rockwell also gained appreciation for the sequence. TheIron Man 2actor has played the role of a real-life spy Aiden Wilde in the movie and has sported some commendable stunts as well.
Sam Rockwell’s character looks quite contrary to how Cavill is presented. Matthew Vaughn spoke toEmpire Magazinethat Sam Rockwell’s action sequences will be an interesting surprise for the fans.
“I think people are going to be surprised to see what Sam’s done. Ian Fleming would never cast Sam Rockwell as a spy, but he took to the action stuff like a fish to the frying pan.”
The story ofArgyllefocuses on the spy novelist Elly Conway whose life turns upside down when her fictional world of Agent Argylle and his actions start to mimic the actions of another real-life spy organization. As Bryce Dallas Howard’s character gets embroiled in a high-octane adventure, several more mysteries begin to unravel as well.
Argylleis slated to hit the theaters on July 03, 2025.
