It has been hard to predict what is cooking on the set ofDeadpool 3,but the recent leaks have made sure to keep fans in the guessing game. A series of new on-set photos and footage of Ryan Reynolds set things in motion yet again.
Even before that, the earlier leaks confirmed that Wolverine would wear the iconic yellow suit but with full sleeves, but after these leaks and rumors, Reynolds joined the game with a series of fake photos, typical Reynolds. The actor was certainly having fun without giving too much away, but the leaks may have been frustrating for some fans.

A New Deadpool Variant?
Deadpool is one of the most exciting MCU characters, and it was an instant hit when FOX gambled with a solo movie for the foul-mouthed anti-hero. Now, the franchise is established, and MCU is all set to releaseDeadpool 3with astounding hype following the movie. Adding to the fuel, the leakedimages and set footagehave kept fans guessing the potential characters and variants appearing in the movie. A few recent leaks revealed another Deadpool variant with a shiny glossy red and black suit withRyan Reynolds’long hair falling on his shoulders while flexing his two swords.
Fans have immediately speculated that the images could be the indicator of the inclusion of Omega Red, who also goes by his alter ego Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich. The long hair seems to support the speculation, but the shiny appeal does not adhere to the inclination towards Red. Some fans speculate it is Deadpool 2099 from Earth-16356, others have some insane theory that this might be MCU’s very own Wade Wilson contrary to the FOX version. Also, for some, the possibility of Samurai Deadpool is also on the table.

Fans Chant Omega Red
Fans took to social platforms to join the debate of the guessing game, and certainly, the chants of Omega Red have dispersed the discussion. Could it really be Omega Red? Red has long hair and that is an indicator of the character but Omega Red was previously discarded by FOX as the character was all set to make a cameo inDeadpool 2and reportedly a movie based on the character was canceled. Still, the possibility remained, while FOX was skeptical of the character, the MCU has the bigger power to gamble with any character or variant if they want.
Something tells me this “variant” is gonna be a play on Omega Red. The antagonist that would make for thee best wolverine movie ever.

At this point, it is very hard to guess who the variant could be, but Deadpool looks different as fans are accustomed to seeing the titular character bald, and here fans have a contrasting glimpse. Regardless, the recent leaks served as added fuel to the long hype over the MCU film.Deadpool 3is scheduled to hit the theaters on 06 July 2025.
