Madden 22might not be what you would’ve expected, but a surprising Campus Mode could turn the tables, for sure.
UPDATE:EA shared a new tweet about an upcoming live stream for Madden 22 on August 31 at 4 pm PT/7 pm ET/11 pm GMT. The teaser trailer features Reggie Bush, who teased Campus Mode earlier. That being said, it’s not still clear what the announcement is about.
Original Story:AlthoughMadden 22already covers college football a little bit through the Face of the Franchise mode, that could not satisfy theNCAA Footballfans.
Probably, a new mode for the series with a full focus on college football would be great, but that could intervene in the company’s upcoming NCAA Football entry.
So, what is all the buzz around the Campus mode? Let’s find out.
Is Madden 22 Getting a Campus Mode?
Reggie Bush, one of the greatest players who reached big trophies both in college football and NFL, shared an Instagram post almostthree days ago, revealing that he and some of the other footballer players got the chance to play the newMadden 22Campus Mode.
Although he deleted the post less than an hour after sharing it, some managed to take a screenshot from the post.
Why Campus Mode Couldn’t Be Real
Earlier this year in February, Electronic Arts officially announced that they will bring back theNCAA Footballseries in 2022 for 9th-gen consoles.
So, if college football is supposed to get its own standalone game as soon as next year, it wouldn’t be reasonable to expect a Campus mode with college teams inMadden 22.
If EA introduces Campus mode forMadden 22, then it will likely be available in the nextMaddenentries as well, which could hurt theNCAA Footballsales when it launches in 2022.
Also, it might be a mistake from Reggie Bush. Maybe he has actually played the upcomingNCAA Footballor theMadden 22Face of the Franchise mode, though the possibility of such a mistake is very low.
Madden 22is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
