Fortniteplayers have been left frustrated after receiving the error code ‘esp-buimet-003’, signifying that the game’s official servers are down on Tuesday, May 10.
The outage comes as a brand new content update is expected to arrive for all platforms later today. The hotfix update is rumoured to include the unvaulting of the Air Strike item, as well as the continuation of the IO vs Resistance battle. Last week’s update sawTilted Towers demolishedas the war raged on throughout the island.

According to Epic Games,Fortniteplayers are reporting issues on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. No outages have currently been reported on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, or PC. Epic Games Responds To Fortnite Server Outage
UPDATE:According to the officialFortniteStatus Twitter account, the server issues on both PlayStation and Xbox consoels have been resolved, player can now jump back in!
TheFortniteservers went down on PlayStation and Xbox consoles at approximately 7:30AM BST, but thankfully it only took Epic Games an hour to notice the issue and get to work.
According to the officialFortniteStatus Twitter account, the outage is currently being investigated. The full statement from the team reads “We’re investigating an issue where some players are unable to log in on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Will provide more info when we have a fix”.
