Well, at least in a fan-made trailer for the film.

In a concept trailer recently uploaded to YouTube, fans get to see what it would be like if Jenna Ortega ever had the privilege of playing one of DC’s favorite female superheroes. Not only did the trailer put the young actress in the lead role, but it also gave DC fans an iconic character back – Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.

Jenna Ortega Becomes Batgirl in New Fan-Made Trailer

Leslie Grace’sBatgirlwasunfortunately shelvedbefore it could become a part of the DCEU. However, disappointed fans now get to take a look at what the film could’ve been like thanks to a fan-made trailer. The only difference is that Grace has been replaced byJenna Ortega.

KH Studiotook to YouTube a few days ago to release their trailer ofBatgirlstarring Ortega. Of course, the trailer is not linked to the DCU in any shape or form, however, it is a great way of seeing Batgirl come to life, even if it is through the use of AI.

The trailer starts off with Ortega as Barbara Gordon sitting in a room and having a conversation with someone behind the camera. As ALIBI Music’sShadows of the Nightplays in the background, the trailer continues on to show glimpses of Ortega’s journey as the classic DC heroine.

As per the video’s description, KH Studios“meticulously incorporated various effects, sound design, AI technologies, movie analytics, and other elements”to bring this vision to life.

The trailer also seesJ.K. Simmonsreturning as Jim Gordon.Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is also revealed to be the person talking to Barbara at the beginning of the fan-made trailer. Therefore, not only did fans get to see Ortega “play” Batgirl, but they also witnessed their favorite characters return to their roles. It’s a win-win situation for all!

Even though it has only been five days since the trailer was released on YouTube, it has surpassed a million views already. Clearly, fans are loving this little idea of having Robbie and Ortega star in a DC film together. While there is obviously no truth to the trailer, fans are still going gaga over it and the idea of theScreamactress as Batgirl.
