Kristen Stewart once spoke in an interview about how being famous in Hollywood at such a young age impacted her life. Stewart started her acting career at just nine years old with a Disney TV movie.

Although she continued appearing in a few movies and shows over the next years, her big break came when she starred in the film adaptations of Stephanie Meyer’sThe Twilight Saga. With the release of the first movie in 2008, she went from relative obscurity to being one of the most popular actors almost overnight.

I hated it. Strictly because I was like young. I was 17 and insecure, and couldn’t deal with the energy being thrown at me. It was just like a miserable experience.
However, she can now enjoy it as she has gotten older and“calmed down”.She further stated that one of the things that helped her weather through it all was because she started in the industry so young.

She claimed that being there for so long has kind of shaped her outlook on life and made her sure about what she wants to focus her energy on. Moreover, she has also found a lot of people in her field that share similar values.
