However, before we received this first glimpse, Todd Howard had an opportunity to express his feelings towards this upcoming title, and he couldn’t say anything but positive comments.

Whether you are a fan of the Indiana Jones franchise, this would be a rather interesting installment to jump in on, as Todd Howard and MachineGames have been tirelessly working on this project for a while now, and now that we have received a look at what is coming, it proves that Todd Howard was speaking the truth, and we are already excited.
What Has Todd Howard Said Regarding Indiana Jones and the Great Circle During the Xbox Developer Direct?
Even if you aren’t a fan of theIndiana Jonesfranchise, it is very clear that Todd Howard is, as he spent his time on the Xbox Developer Direct talking about his love for the franchise and how he has been waiting for years to get the opportunity to create a game based on this incredibly popular franchise.
After pitching the idea to LucasFilms, which was a rather daunting task for Todd Howard, he was able to get permission to create the title, and immediately he began enacting his lifelong plan. For years, Todd Howard has been planning in his own mind what kind of story he would tell if he had the opportunity to create anIndiana Jonesgame.

Since it is a franchise that spans many decades, one of the main decisions that was put forward was when the game would be set and whether it would link into any of the films that have already been created. Now we know that the game will be set between theIndiana Jones Raiders of the Lost ArkandThe Last Crusadefilms.
Todd Howard isn’t the only one excited about this project, as the entire team at MachineGames has also been very eager to work on this project. After Todd Howard received permission to create theIndiana Jonesgame, he looked around for the perfect company to work on this title and eventually landed on MachineGames, as he knew they would have the same passion and vision that he would have for the project, and from what we can see, that is entirely true.

When talking with MachineGames, Todd Howard began discussing how the game would perform and what his ideas were for the game and its story and representation. From the beginning, MachineGames understood this vision, and they were completely aware that this project would be perfect for their method of game development.
While developingIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, MachineGames focused on the idea of the character actually becomingIndiana Jonesrather than just playing as a character. This was focused upon as an idea, which is why the game will be in first-person and has been positively pushed forward by Todd Howard, as this format for the game fits perfectly with his vision of what he expects anIndiana Jonesgame to play like.

So far, Todd Howard and MachineGames are working incredibly hard onIndiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the positivity towards the project has been amazing, as all of the developers working on the title have been excited and eager to provide an amazingIndiana Jonesexperience for all those gamers who have been wanting to fill those shoes. What do you think aboutIndiana Jones and the Great Circle? Do you think Todd Howard and MachineGames will finally scratch that archaeologist itch that players have had for years?
