Jonathan Majors, the rising star of Hollywood was found guilty by a New York jury of assault and harassment of his former girlfriend during a domestic dispute. And while coming out for the first time to speak since that court verdict, the former Marvel star was seen off-guard.

The Marvel franchise former star’s ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari testified that Majors assaulted her in the backseat of a car when she saw some romantic message on his phone.

Jonathan Majors Threatened to Kill Himself
Several text messages and an audio recording betweenJonathan Majorsand his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabarri were made public during the trial for alleged assault. As reported byVariety, among all the pieces of evidence, one includes text messages where Majors threatened to kill himself.
“Last night I considered killing myself versus coming home. I will probably [k]ill myself. It’s not really contemplating any more…I’m a monster. A horrible man. Not capable of love. I am killing myself soon. I’ve already put things in motion.”

Majors, who is scheduled to be sentenced in February and could receive up to a year in prison throughout his interview onABC News, claimed that he never laid a hand on Jabbari and was not responsible for the injuries.

Elsewhere in the interview, Majors expressed his wish for a second chance in life and to continue working in Hollywood as Marvel dropped him from future projects.

He was till that day, one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood. But then these allegations came up and eventually jury found him guilty of assaulting and harassing his former girlfriend. Majors’ acting career also was in jeopardy as his future in Hollywood went gloomy.
While expressing his shock and disbelief at the verdict, Majors said:

“I was absolutely shocked and afraid,” Majors told ABC News.
“I’m standing there and the verdict comes down. I say, ‘How is that possible based off the evidence, based off the prosecution’s evidence, let alone our evidence? How is that possible?'”
He added: “It’s like you work so hard for things. And then, you know, it’s done.” (ViaThe Guardian)
However, he is optimistic about his future and says that everything is in the hands of God and all will be done in accordance with His plan and timing.

Majors was found guilty of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment but was acquitted of two other counts of assault and aggravated harassment.
