Gun inspect animations are some of the best things to do in a first-person shooter. Whether it’sCall of DutyorApex Legends, these animations give you a better look at the weapon you’re currently holding, and a lot of online shooters allow players to pick up a gun dropped by its previous owner.

In one such case, aCall of Duty: Mobileplayer picked up a gun and the inspection animation pretty much boggled their mind. So much so, that more than 800 upvotes and 100 comments on the clip of the same has the community impressed beyond words.
When the Inspect Animations Feels More Fun Than the Game Itself
Recently, user lodozodontoloz on Reddit showcased a clip that has the community dropping their jaws over an inspect animation of a gun they picked up mid-match. This gun’s skin happens to be an entire short film in itself.
I just picked up this gun from the ground. HOLY SHIT!byu/lodozodontolozinCallOfDutyMobile

Upon inspection, you can see a small battlefield on the gun (yes, you read that right!) with tiny soldiers running around. Explosions in the background make everything look twice as cinematic. Now, if you were to lose the match because you were so distracted by this, who could have blamed you?

Some serious credit goes to the developers and animators responsible for creating such a detailed gun skin. It’s not often thatCall of Dutygames surprise us with skins/cosmetics that take one’s breath away, let alone hold up an entire conversation around it.
Call of Duty Certainly Can Use More Cosmetics Like This
Over the different seasons, bothCall of DutyandCall of Duty: Mobilehave seen some incredible crossovers and season pass skins. Some players even admit that the mobile version of the game has way crazier skin, and well that makes sense simply because the platform is more accessible to players.

That being said, the triple-Afranchise can certainly learn from thisand add more blueprints and cosmetics that not only fit the theme but also give players something interesting to be distracted by. Okay, maybe not a little short film on every gun, but certainly cool animations.Apex Legendsheirlooms, anyone?
Every season,Call of Duty: Mobileshifts things up and focuses on new themes. However, certain Mythic items hold their own, fitting the theme regardless of what season the player chooses to play the game in. And that seems to be the case with this gun skin in particular.
