In a recent interview onThe Louis Theroux Podcast,theBasic Instinctactressrecalled thealleged conversationwith Evans, claiming:
“He’s running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better. And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem.”
Stone went on to say that Evans’ alleged justification was,
“If I could sleep with Billy, then we would have chemistry onscreen, and if I would just have s*x with him then that would save the movie.”
Baldwin fueled the controversy by implying that Stone, not Evans, was acting inappropriately on set. He claimed that the actress had once confided in her friend Janice Dickinson that she was“gonna make”Baldwin“fall so hard”for her.
However, Dickinson blasted Baldwin on Tuesday, telling theDaily Mailthat she could not remember having the conversation that the latter claimed to have had. She said:
