This statement was in reference to a video of Paltrow, where people can see her prop open the gate to her Hamptons house during an interview with her Oscar. Maybe it’s just another metal statue to the actress, but DiCaprio probably holds the prestigious award in higher regard.

Lily Gladstone was “Pissed” at Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar Snub

While Scorsese has managed to get the tenth Oscar nomination of his career, it is leading ladyLily Gladstone, who made Oscar history as the first Native American woman to secure a nomination in the Best Actress category.

After her win at the Golden Globes, Gladstone is in favor of winning at the Oscars, even if she faces tough competition from actresses like Emma Stone, Carey Mulligan, Annette Benning, and Sandra Hüller. On DiCaprio’s Oscar snub, Gladstone said that she and her family were “pissed” that he missed out on the nomination. Talking about her family’s reaction to Variety, she said,

EvenMartin Scorseseseemed bummed about the fact that his leading man did not get the recognition he deserved. Speaking of the character DiCaprio plays, the director said,

“He went so far into the complexities and contradictions of a man who was so weak, so malleable, who did such unspeakable things, but who also truly loved his wife. Leo fearlessly created a true Everyman … an Everyman that people just don’t want to acknowledge. So that will endure.”

Killers of the Flower Moonis available for streaming on Apple TV Plus.
